Private Adoption Dog - Jilly Bean

Jilly Bean is a 4.5 year old spayed female cattle dog mix. She is a sweet and loving dog who loves to be with her people. She needs lots of exercise and loves to run on the beach, as well as to walk on "heel" and carry a doggie back pack.

She is sensitive to your moods and will act the clown to cheer you up. She is good in the car, having taken many car trips. She is very intelligent, and a bit stubborn, and has mastered basic commands such as sit, speak, shake, down, wait, leave it, and heel. She is housebroken and crate trained - preferring to sleep in a crate, if not with you on the bed.

She can be mouthy - wanting to guide you by the hand - therefore I would not place her with cats or small children. She wants to be an "only dog", having had some issues with challenging for dominance in a multi-dog home.

A perfect home for Jilly would be one with someone who loves to run or hike as she would make a wonderful partner in those activities. Jilly Bean will joy to your home, greeting you at the door with exuberance when you come home and providing an enthusiastic partner for outdoor activities.
