Private Adoption Dog - Mashis

Mashis is a 4 year old lancashire heeler mix. She is spayed, house-trained, up-to-date on her vaccinations and weighs 22 lbs. She is good with other dogs but untested with kids. She has a strong prey drive so is not safe with cats.

Here is what Mashis' current guardian has to say about her:

Mashi is energetic, playful, obeys extremely well, wants to go on walks, runs, etc., with people and other dogs. She gets along with all other dogs she has come into contact with while I have had her.

Mashi has a very high predator instinct, and wants to hunt lizards and cats, unfortunately. She likes to tree bears, and has done so several times. She prefers to be outside.

She eats twice a day, morning and afternoon, then wants to go back outside. She really only likes to be in the house when it is cold and rainy outside.

I think the house is too boring for her: nothing to chase or explore. She likes to play with other dogs, loves to go for rides in the car, or hikes in the woods.

I think she would be a great farm or ranch dog, as she loves being outside.
